Ideneicka Verse's sound could best be described as something fresh and new, with a hint of old school and gospel with some hip hop to top it off. This hard working, and very talented singer/songwriter/composer was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1980 with a natural gift for music. Growing up Ideneicka would sing everyday, which would eventually blossom into not only a gift from God, but a first love, and an uncontrollable passion for all genres of music. This young lady began singing at the age of three years old with her very close cousin, Tamarah. The two children would entertain family members everyday singing and dancing, because they were the same age, had a lot in common and shared a very close bond, their love for music. They loved to entertain especially if there was company over, a special occasion or a holiday. This would lead them to form the group "HWT (Honeys With Talent)," with her uncle Larry Bell as their manager and vocal coach. The group would later on be known as "Satin." When Ideneicka was eight years she started attending church every Sunday with her Grandma at Greater Holy Temple Church of God in Christ where she joined the children's choir called "The Voices of Joy." There she would continue to sing and find the music in her self as well as sing her first solo which was the beginning of many in her lifetime. Ideneicka and her cousin continued to entertain, singing in church, school events, events around there local community and local talent shows until her cousin moved away to New York when they were sixteen. In school music would bring Ideneicka through everything and she joined choir every year, at every school that she attended. The most memorable school choir was the John Adams High School Show Choir, where Ideneicka would learn to sing, dance and choreograph. In 1997 Ideneicka gave birth to her first and only baby girl. In 2004, Ideneicka went to New York City to participate in the New York Music Festival where she performed original material as a solo artist. Ideneicka continued to sing and write and eventually enrolled in The Raclin School of the Arts at Indiana University South Bend. She learned tremendously from the program and even had the pleasure to play in the opera "Dido and Aneas," which allowed her to learn some acting skills. Verse Entertainment was founded by Ideneicka in 2005. At this time, this humble artist is continuing to sharpen her skills, composing, studying the piano, writing lyrics, working in the studio, finishing college, raising her daughter who is now nine and also working with children.
