BIOGRAPHY
Jeff G. also known as JG has always been a player and leader in the business world. With a proven track record, JG has earned the stripes needed to be labeled a successful entrepreneur. He currently runs a real estate mortgage business as well as URBAN STREAM. With many years of experience in sales and marketing, JG has proven to become number 1 in 2 well known major financial institutes. In doing so, he has developed an exceptional skill to analyze, perform, and have complete knowledge of what it really takes to finish first. Something that cannot be taught by books, but only by experience. His humble yet aggressive attitude has allowed him to earn the respect and trust of others, an important weapon in a world of sharks. Inspired by his late grandfather who passed, JG already knew his purpose in life by the age of 18. To him his purpose in life was to motivate and help others achieve success. Many may not understand it, but with his grandfather passed he understood the reason behind it. His grandfathers teachings lived through JG keeping his spirit alive.
For many years, JG has always been surrounded by money. Whether it was people making it or working for a financial institute that involved large amounts of it. He was tired of being just a spectator. After working several years in the financial field, 2003 marked the year he would make one of the biggest leaps of faith onto his road to financial freedom. Being optimistic by nature, he decided to test his abilities and go after what he knew he can accomplish. He not only wanted to see it, but wanted to earn it. By the age of 21, he managed to earn 25k to invest in a real estate company. There he had his first taste of ownership within a real estate corporation, but investing only allowed him to go so far in the company due to the company being controlled by the actual CEO. Two years later he decided to leave the company due to disagreements and to also further his knowledge in the real estate game. To many, this would seem like an unintelligent move especially when he was making 6 figure incomes at a young age. Being JG, his heart would never allow failure.
Earning a substantial amount of money, he managed to take a break from the hectic world of real estate for approximately a year without financial stress. He used his time wisely to develop a game plan that will soon turn his life around. After evaluating his life situation, he decided to go back to what he does best. Run a business. He is now a real estate investment manager and runs his own mortgage company as well as URBAN STREAM, formally known as BG RECORDS. BG RECORDS was born on April 12th of 2006. Not even a year into the music industry, JG managed to create a tremendous buzz throughout the Bay Area. With a resume less than a year in the music industry, he already managed to have a resume that include performances at the longest concert series in the Bay Area called Super Hyphy, controlled by the Noise Makerz, DJ AMEN and Box Kev of KMEL. They have done 3 consecutive Super Hyphy Concerts and are on the roster for upcoming events and concerts. JG has also managed to get his label to perform at many well known Bay Area Night Clubs surrounding the Bay Area. Some of the biggest accomplishments for a young independent record label has included collaborating and networking with many of the major artists already established in the music industry, which many of them have made radio and television appearances.
His vision for URBAN STREAM is more than just a record company. He plans to expand the company to more than just music alone, providing more jobs and light to others seeking growth. A native of the Bay Area, JG understands the level of difficulty his position plays, never underestimating his role as the front line, due to being surrounded by a competitive and fast pace city of San Francisco, CA. Although educated by the Bay Area, he has full knowledge of what is demanded across the nation. He believes in going with the system not against it, but at the same time creating new paths for others to follow. That is what makes him a power hitter in the business world. URBAN STREAM stands for quality not quantity and promises to deliver the most unique and exceptional sounds of music, backed by the talented Music Department of URBAN STREAM led by TJ.
