The Land is a musical collaboration between Musician/Composers Aaron Cupples and Chelsea Stewart. Three years in the making, The Lands' self titled debut album is soon to be released. Three tracks from the album are available to listen to here.
The album was completely self produced, recorded, mixed, written, and performed by The Land, mostly in Aarons' studio 'The Loft' in Gippsland.
UPDATE:
In case it hadn't already been supposed, 'The land' is more of a state of mind or a mythical beast rather than an 'actual band'. At present, and in the tradition of their heroes Morrissey and Marr, Land members Cupples and Stewart now prefer to make rude or witty remarks about each other from opposite sides of the globe rather than 'actually make some good music together', perhaps because the former is more fun!!!
