River Crombie is one of Victoria's best kept musical secrets. With gentle vocals similar to Paul Simon and a fingerpicking guitar style reminiscent of Nick Drake, River takes his listeners on a smooth journey to a quiet place.The self-taught Melbourne musician has been writing songs for seven years - inspired by the country, folk and blues music of the 1960s and 1970s. River released an album of his original music in 2007. He was well received at Boolarra Folk Festival and Gippsland Acoustic Music Club.
