About the Company...
Mark Nesbitt started the Ghosts of Gettysburg Candlelight Walking Tours in 1994 and over the past 13 years we have grown from one walking tour to four walking tours, a bus tour, and a train tour. Costumed guides armed with tales from Mark's best-selling Ghosts of Gettysburg series - and some stories not found in the books - take visitors through sections of town that were blood-stained battlefields over 140 years ago. Hear stories of restless spirits that still haunt houses and buildings today and of cemeteries where the dead lay, sometimes not so peacefully. We invite you to visit us at our tour headquarters at 271 Baltimore St and expierence for yourself the best ghost tour in Gettysburg!
Did we say Gettysburg? How about America?
For the second year in a row , The Ghosts of Gettysburg was named
The # 1 Ghost Tour in America

My Interests

Baltimore St Tour The Baltimore St Tour takes visitors through downtown Gettysburg along Baltimore and E. High Streets. This tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Carlisle St Tour The Carlisle St or College Campus Tour leaves from the Tour Headquarters and takes visitors to the campus of Gettysburg College. This the orignal ghost tour that our company began guiding in 1994. Visitors hear some of the most popular stories such as the "Blue Boy of Stevens Hall" and the elevator of Pennsylvania Hall that took two unsuspecting riders into a time that was not their own. This tour lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Seminary Ridge Tour The Seminary Ridge Tour meets on the campus of the Lutheran Theological Seminary. Hear about the tormented soul of a man buried alive under a pile of corpses whose spirit haunted a house until finding eternal peace after an exorcism. This tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Steinwehr Ave Tour The Steinwehr Ave Tour meets at the Reliance Mine Saloon parking lot. Visitors hear stories about a Cavalryman's ghost that walks amongst the graves in the National Cemetery. Also gaze across the fields of Pickett's Charge where so many southern boys met their deadly fate and are said to still linger. This tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Ghost Bus Tour The Ghost Bus Tour takes visitors where most walking tours don't go. The Ghosts of Gettysburg has teamed up with Historic Tour Company to let visitors travel through "Hospital Woods" and hear about a home where funrniture moves all on its own and make a stop a farm where soldier's graffiti is carved into the barn and a Confederate soldier takes a stroll around dusk and then disappears into thin air. This tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Ghost Train Tour The Gettysburg Ghost Train Tour takes passengers on a 16 mile round trip to Biglerville and back. Partnered with the Pioneer Lines our storytellers recount the tales of terrible train disasters of the past and the victims of those disasters that still haunt the present.
