* Texas Paranormal Society is a professionally ran, scientifically focused paranormal investigation group. We were originally formed in the Dallas metroplex and are now based in Abilene, TX with a chapter in Austin. We cover the entire state as well the immediate surrounding states if needed. 2009 brings the Texas Paranormal Society just over four years of continued loyal service.
* This group is strictly scientific based and continues to implement that, we don't ridicule the use of sensitives, mediums and/or psychic enabled individuals but this group does not consider them to be "evidence" on their own.
* This group does NOT glorify orbs, ecto mist formations or plasma light formations - these anomolies do NOT support a haunting.
* This group utilizes a re-creation/debunking team which thoroughly takes the claims of activity from the location and then initiates trying to re-create or debunk the claims as "haunting". A simple fact is that 80% of all "claimed" hauntings can be dismissed due to overactive imaginations, high electrical fields, noisy pipes, swelling of wood and other natural occurances.
* There is a difference between evidence and "REAL" evidence, this group is dedicated to only revealing reputable, undisputable evidence. That said, our usage of digital audio/video equipment and various scientific equipment is crucial in aiding the final ruling of a location.
* With all our clients a reveal will be scheduled accordingly to educate and inform the individuals on what the group finds or doesn't find. If the team was able to debunk or re-create a claim that will be revealed as well to what was causing the phenomena or how the team was able to dismiss that claim.
* In the event a legitimate haunting is present aide and comfort will be available. We are available to answer questions and concerns as well to help the party take control of the situation and get the right people in contact to remove the activity if desired.
