DRock Photography Studio

Welcome to D-Rock photography and studio...How does that sound? I have to give Rosa (A.K.A. Axl Rosa) credit since she's been calling me that (DRock) for a while now! For a long time, I've always been the one taking pictures, on trips, at functions and parties and anywhere I'm able to bring my camera. I've always wanted to capture something unique and spontaneous or someone's candid expression or the different layers of someone I know well. I guess like most people I wanted to try to show my friends how I see the world and how I see them in my world. Over the past two years I have had quite a bit of encouragement from friends about branching out doing it more on a professional level and I've finally reached the point to where I think it would be challenging and fun to try. I still feel like I have so much to learn but that goes with any artistic outlet. All pictures we're taken by me and while most are unaltered, many were given some treatment for artistic purposes and/or by request of the subject to create a feel or mood. With the exception of the celebrity shots at the end, everyone featured here is a personal friend of mine and have given me express permission to post in this personal forum.
