About Me

I am a natural born runner, not the physical exertion kind of runner, the emotional runner. And up until just a little while ago I didn't have a problem with that. My life has taken me so many place, and allowed me to experience so many things, I know now running will take me no where. The most difficult people and the most difficult problems can be the ones that teach you the most about the world you live in and about yourself. I thank every difficult person, and every difficult obstacle for getting in my way, for breaking me as they did, because without them, I wouldn't be half the person I am today. And, although, I still have a lot of work to do, I have come a long way from where I was, and that alone might be the one thing that saves me everyday. I know that I am fickle, I am independent to a fault, and I hide a piece of myself because I am terrified of what could happen if I let her out. I can be childish, but am often a source of counseling to my friends and family. It takes a lot to get on my good side, but once your there, I will do everything in my power to help you, even if we're going through a rough patch. I am loyal, and stubborn, but like everything else in the world I am evolving. More then anything else, I am madly in love. And for the first time I don't want to run from it.

I'd like to meet:

People who believe in a life beyond the borders we are confined in. The strong willed and faithful. People who love to laugh and appreciate when to cry. I want to meet people who don't define themselves with words like "hot, crazy or sexy" but "intelligent, independent and proud".

Music:

I enjoy all types of music generally. In my CD case you will find everything from opera to rap, 90's pop to death metal. However, having said that, I am in a Country music rut right now. Yeah, I know, but I love it.

Movies:

I enjoy movies that make me question the world like Run Lola, Run. I also like the Lord of the Rings movies. But now-a-days I don't get to watch much. I liked Office Space and Bang, Bang, You're Dead. The Incredibles rocked, and Team America made me laugh a lot.

Books:

Holy Jesus in a Gay Bar!!!

This morning I was giving exciting yet terrifying news. They have found my donor bone, so on 31 Jan. 2008 I will be going into surgery and hopefully coming out sooooo much better. Wish me luck!!!
