Katrina Elias is best known as a writer of theatre and film, yet experienced in both producing and directing. Her most recognized written theatre work is "Abuelo's Legacy" (starring Liz Torres) nominated for "Best Theatre Production" by the Imagen Foundation in 2004. She has written, produced and directed two short films; "Dream-keeper" and "Madam Marina". The latter, selected by more than thirty film festivals worldwide and honored with half dozen festival awards including, "Best Latino Film" by the International New York City Duo Film Festival in 2005. Ms. Elias has been hired to write several television comedy pilots and most recently completed the rewrite on Paradise Pictures' comedy feature "Castoff", slated to shoot in 2008. Currently, Katrina is writing a historical-fiction feature film set in first century Rome for CART GIRLS Production Company.-
