About Me

I used to care a lot about that sort of thing,but I wouldn't say I was ever part of the subculture really. I tend to be a sort of subculture nibbler,I think my church is probably the only bit of semi-stability I 've ever really had around But the scene isn't what it was to me anymore. I still like some of the music,but I realize more and more I like everyone more than I'd like to mention. I like everything in bits aside from preferences for the older eras. I even like the occasional New Country song...though not usually.But heck I was listening to my Donny Osmond tape today...and liked it on more than a stupid and cheesy level.
Good Grief I know the words. (But in my defense I really have to be in the mood.)
So I guess this will be somewhat introspective of that stuff,a little of my poetry,and maybe some fun stuff too.

My Interests

Music:

A lot of everything from Donny Osmond to Benny Goodman to The Ramones. But I'm very particular once you pass the year 1965. Call it musical blasphemy but something died when Elvis went to Vegas and the Beatles went to India.

Movies:

Hmmm...always tricky...
Neil Gaiman's Mirrormask,Goodnight and Goodluck.
Pirates continues to rock. I love the old Disney movies,like when they made good live action ones too.
Oh yeah and the standards:
Neverending Story,Princess Bride,Willow,Dark Crystal

Television:

Not much. Cartoons,The Office...and my guilty pleasure...Extreme Makeover Home Edition.I cry almost every time.
