Spreading the Mahayana Buddhadharma via MySpace Messages, Bulletins, and Blogs....(of all things...)

About Me

I am a very Deity-centered Mahayana Buddhist, practicing the Sutrayana, and Mantrayana, but stopping just short of the Vajrayana, despite being invited to it specifically by the Gods.

I am not limited to the Tibetan Traditions, but find benefit in all traditions of the Mahayana.

I help take care of a Buddhist Message Board here , and I occasionally blog here.

I am here to help anyone with any questions about Mahayana Buddhism that I might know the answers to. It pleases me greatly to be of service to new and aspiring bodhisattvas.

I'm usually on MySpace IM if I'm online, but not always visible, so "holla at a Upasaka"......

May all beings find peace.

These are some stupid videos that I found amusing....../div

My Interests

Virtually anything....I can't remember being bored.

I'd like to meet:

People of good heart.... Buddhists of Mahayanist Inclination....

Music:

Lord Shakyamuni didn't approve of delights of the senses, and therefore prohibited his disciples from listening to music. He would have, however, approved of the inner beauty of the following people, and allowed me to recommend them to those who don't follow this particular precept:
Devin Lima, Who, despite his Pop-Star-Idol past, is just about one of the sweetest guys you'd ever possibly want to meet.
Yungchen Lhamo , who is undoubtedly the voice of the Devas.
Six O'Clock Saints , whom I've known nearly half their lives. They are beautiful, talented, and intelligent young men.

Movies:

As many as possible....yes, I know, I'm breaking the precept of "watching shows"...but only on a technicality....

Television:

There is nothing that is "broadcast" that is worth watching...it's all "brain pollution"....you don't have to watch it, you know...there are alternatives.

Books:

I read Buddhist texts, mostly Sutras that I print off online, though. I have (I think) most of the books written by XIV Dalai Lama, and have read most of them more than once.

Heroes:

Ksitigarbha, my Uncles....some more than others. Those people I have yet to forgive, because they provide me with something difficult to work on, spiritually.

My Blog
