The fire for Soul music within his soul was stoked in the early 70’s. His greatest Soul Musical influence was a station on the AM dial called “Super 1600†with Gerry Bledoe and Chuck Lenorard.
This versatile DJ has become a global phenomenon and has shared his mixes with thirsty European crowds and many more world wide. He has accepted invitations to play in numerous countries and cities such as: Canada, Italy, London and Spain. His “spin magic†has been summoned to many events world wide and over seas.
He has had the distinct pleasure of interacting with many well known artists and has shared enlightening conversations with Luther Vandross, Kool and the Gang, Will Downing, Gloria Gaynor, Manhattan’s “Blue Lovettâ€, Terri Gonzalez, PM Dawn, Thelma Houston, Loose Ends, Larry “L.A.†Anderson, Shannon and the list goes on! He has mingled with an abundant number of producers, promoters, remixers and engineers globally.
There’s no understatement to say that the Club D.J. Remixer, Producer from Union City has turn out To be one of Dance music’s influenced people in the industry. Vinnie F. started his career in 1979 in a club in union city called "City Limits" He then wanted to play in New York City and landed a job at "Baseline" in lower Manhatten at this time Vinnie sent Paco from 92 WKTU a tape for the lunch time custom remixes. His music style started changing to a more soulful sound and frequently went to Club Zanizibar in Newark to hear 98.7 Kiss Fm Mastermixer Tony Humphries and the late great Tee Scott. Tony gave Vinnie some Kiss FM air time shows. Quickly He began remixing in different recording studios. Vinnie was playing at Romy’s Rendevous when he had total freedom to Break New Records and try new music all the time.
