I started my DJ career at the age of 16 when I got my first PA system. Part live savings and part birthday present. I began doing house party, school functions, weddings ext with one of thee very first 24 channel studio mixers made and two normal cd players. During this time I was able to save more money and sneak into a few clubs. That’s when my passion for DJ’ing really started. I no longer wanted to be part of the crowd. I wanted to be the person moving them. I then reached the age of 18 and no longer had to hide from the bouncers in the clubs anymore. That year coloddeum had a DJ wars and I decided to enter not knowing what lies ahead. I sucked! Never even made the first round. Lucky for me, I made a friend out of this and he taught me the finer arts of mixing. I then practiced my but off where ever and when ever I could get a chance. It turned out great. So great that I actually won. To my surprise the owner heard me play and enjoyed my 20 min set. He asked me if I wanted to play in his club and I gladly accepted.
This was my first big break where I got a lot of publicity playing along side some of South Africa’s best DJ’s and internationals - Speedy, Surge, Dizzy, Morgan, Gizmo, Bonebreaker, Joker but to name a few. After bout a year and a half coloddeum closed down due to unforeseen reasons. I then approached the owner of ramp divas and after a half an hour guest set, I was in. That was my residency for a little more than a year when legends nightclub approached me. I gladly accepted in a quest to better myself and to get more exposure. After more than year i started playing at Vertigo and this is where you will be able to catch me for now, doing what I love and moving the crowd.
