The story of this music jockey started about four years ago. Armed with two turntables a mixer, countless records, a never-say-die attitude, and an insatiable hunger for beats … Allen Vendetta started exploring the infinite galaxy of dance music and everything that goes with it.After dabbling with the trance genre for about 2 years, he cracked the nod and became part of the longest running, and best club in South Africa, ESP! At ESP he graced the Classix Floor where he banged out all the best tunes from yesteryear. He was on the bill for SPLASH (An outdoors party in Midrand – 7000 People) and many Slippery n Wet parties where international DJs like Armin van Buuren, Fedde le Grande, M.I.K.E, Sebastian Ingrosso, Brian Cross, Menno de Jong and Lisa Lashes.Whilst playing his residency on the classix floor at ESP, Allen Vendetta started forging a new sound for himself. Influenced by close friend, Paul Bingham, he started blending Electro, Techno and Progressive tracks together to see where this sound will take him. His new sound opened many doors for him. Allen Vendetta was invited to all the Delectro parties, hosted by Properfuct.com, where he shared the decks with Paul Bingham and other SA DJs.Early 2007, a legend of the South African Dance Scene contacted him…. Derek the Bandit, the pioneer of the SA dance scene. He had started a web-based radio station especially for dance music. Derek wanted Allen to do a weekly 2 hour radio show, comprising of all the house genres. And so the House Revolution with Allen Vendetta was born.Catch this show every Monday morning at 10AM on www.soundrepublic.co.za/webradio.asp (South Africa Time)Allen is still a resident at ESP, but has now secured his residency on the House Floor with fellow residents KAOS, Zac, Dave Skinz, Gregori, Dizzy, Amanda, Jaysin and Jon Jon. Sharing the decks with SA’s premier house and electro DJs has given Allen a ranking amongst the best.
