Jimmi Yakuza

personal; hello there everybody,.. i don't honestly kno if any1 will even be reading this but here goes.......... i'm a social worker in the west mids (soon to be a drugs councilor based in B'ham... people who kno me will find this funny but..it's true), single, i'm italian (sorry this does mean i like football, but i'm not obsessed..), i'm 5ft 11", dark brown hair (when natural), hazel/blue eyes (any other info about my body type & you'll have to ask nicley)....the important stuff; my name is James, but i go by the name Jimmy Yakuza now (partly because of my facination with japanese culture & also coz' it sounds cool..),... i am the bassist/ vocalist of Aversion Therapy (& founding member..),.. we've been playing together for a while now & have had nothing but fun since we started..... originally i started out on guitar for my first band (LEATHAL ADDICTION - guitar/ vocals me - lead guitar max - vince bass - drums tony), formed with my cuz darren on lead guitar (now drummer of aversion therapy), which was more of an old school rock band in the style of G n' R.. which was cool... then it was the time for the first incarnation of the band COLLISION CULT, (vocals/ guitar - me, lead guitar - max, bass - clinton, drums - ade)..still with daz (aka max speed) & still on guitar & vocals we went for a different direction... punk!! our 1 true love in music... & it was mad for a while..after that band ended i started up another project of mine (while max started his own band "NIGHTSHADE")CARTOON BURIAL was born..(industrial/ alt/ punk) in which i was vocalist/ guitarist/ bassist & song writer - this was more of my experimental band, kinda trying stuff out ya know (everything - me).. then after meeting up with an old friend (john stokes) i was convinced to play bass full time in his newly formed band (FROM BEYOND),.. this went well for a while (lasting 4yrs, vocals- jay, guitar - max, rythem - john stokes, bass - me, drums - shaun tolly) until john got sacked (ups...) & after a while, everybody else went their seperate ways... at this point, i wasn't sure what i wanted to do anymore (musically).. i joined a band called arena1 for a while but didn't really enjoy myself so i left & formed "..MR HYDE",(bass/vocals - me,.. drums - double d,.. guitar - titch) which really got me back into the swing of things again (although only lasting a short time, some good things came from it..).. now enter john tolly (another good friend)... bored with the monotiny of life (which i was too) & newly interested in music began talking about possible music colaberations we could do.... soon after this period COLLISION CULT was reformed,.. this time more of a rock/metal outfit but still fun... the new line up was; me on bass/ vocal (temp) & song writer- john on drums (co-songwriter)- chris "doorsy" doors on lead guitar - "majic" mark wilson on rythem guitar... this line-up only lasted a short time but some good things came from it... maj became lead,.. kit came in on rythem & jay (john cuz) came in on vocals.. on leaving about two years into the bands second comming, i decided that enough was enough & i wanted out (unfortunately the band became stale for me because anything i wrote that was a little alt/ punky was dismissed as not fitting the bands style)... so off i went & formed a new project RAZORBACKS... this was more like what i was missing.... PUNK, i love it!! in the planning stage i got lucky & came across darren "thorpedo" thorpe (thats what i like to call him lol) in a drunken state the same as i was in... so obviously we hit it off & started planning the first practice,... at that time max was taking a break from music & had no real plans 2 join a band, but thanks to luck, good timing & a whole bucket full of alcohol decided to join up leave guitar behind (thorpedo already vocalist/ guitarist) & lean drums from scratch.. & that he did, & well... after that, well that brings u pretty much up2 date with everything so thanks for staying with me on this long ramble & maybe if i can remember some more i may just share it with you...anyway i'm sure i'll add some more later on but for now that will have to do so take care & peace out
