KASEY KAHNE! My very favorite driver. I started watching NASCAR when he was a rookie. Apparently, his hands shake all the time. No one knows why. MINE TOO! They always have. (I accidentally discovered the secret to making them stop though. Just a few cocktails. So Kasey, if you are reading this...give it a shot! or two..haha.) Anyway, I figured we could be rookies together. When I moved to Wilmington, I purposely did NOT get cable...so that I would be forced to leave the apartment. You know...where the people are. Kasey Kahne had won the pole that particular Sunday. So I went to BW3s to watch the race. We have them in Ohio, (they started there) so I knew what to expect. Little did I know I was about to meet the most wonderful guy, who I happen to have been dating for 2 years now. He was there to watch the Gamecocks in the College World Series. So all I can say is thanks KASEY...and GO Cocks!!
Definitely into country music. I also love Billy Joel, Van Morrison, Marc Cohn. 80's music...the cheesier the better. I like any songs better when they have good memories associated with them..(ahh..Michael Bolton... ;)
In no particular order...I love the Notebook, Top Gun, and Hope Floats. I get excited when they unexpectedly appear on TV when I am channel surfing, but I also own them in the event of an emergency. Gone with the Wind, and any ELF Christmas ELF movie ELF at Christmastime. Wait, Elf next to Gone with the Wind? I said no particular order, but REALLY. Gone with the Wind, anything with Audrey Hepburn, love Bogart, the old Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies, Elf. Thats better.
God Bless the DVR! Medium, Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, and Greys Anatomy. Stewey from Family Guy cracks me up. In Reality TV land, the winner is The Amazing Race. I'd love to be on that show, despite my less than stellar sense of direction.
I was as impressed as anyone else by DaVinci Code. Just about anything by Nicholas Sparks or Nora Roberts..hey, I'm a chick, it's ok. Hitchikers Trilogy, (all 5 of em) and Violin by Anne Rice. I've read Horse Whisperer a few times. I like that guys style. Also Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. I'll read pretty much anything Oprah tells me to. Wish I'd known what Million Little Pieces was about before I asked Santa for it...pretty graphic. I don't need to read that one again.
