C Note: Bio
When it comes to music, C Note is unsatisfied. Hungry for more. Determined to reach success, C Note is driven by a will to succeed and a hunger for respect. In an industry where it’s increasingly hard to come up, C Note continues to acheive success. His debut album, "Cash Flow," was released August 21, 2007. To date, "Cash Flow" is still considered by many to be one of Syracuse’s most anticipated underground albums. "Cash Flow" features two-time Sammy Award winner DooWittle, as well as up-and-coming R&B artist Solange. However, C Note is still hungry for more, and still determined to succeed (despite a very successful debut.) "What’s stopping me besides death and my own limits?"In 2000, C Note first began his career as an independant artist. "At first, I messed around with it. After awhile, I got more serious with it, started writing and producing." To date, C Note has since worked with artists such as DooWittle and Solange, both featured on "Cash Flow." Furthermore, C Note has worked with Divine Beats 315 in Syracuse, New York, which produced the song "Johnny’s Song," in loving memory of C Note’s friend Johnny Chambers, which is also on "Cash Flow."Throughout 2007, C Note has worked with up-and-coming Indie record label Tru Soundz Entertainment founders DJ C-Money and Poppa Don, as well as local artists in Syracuse, New York, such as Raywellz. To date, C Note is currently working on a new album called "West Side Story," as well as the second installment of the five part mixtape series, "Welcome 2 Da Industry." "Welcome 2 Da Industry Part 2: New Government" is set for release in October 2008. "Welcome 2 Da Industry Part 2: New Government is a step into the future. A lot of things change in the music industry. I think it’s time for the business to change."Despite a wide range of success, a high amount of sales, and an even higher level of respect, C Note is still hungry. Still unsatisfied. And still coming up.
