We, the Warriors, are a self help group as well as a music band. Founded four years ago the Warriors as a band have performed in many major events such as the reggae summer feast 06 where they shared a stage with icon apple Gabriel of Israel vibration. The band has performed in Kenya and Tanzania in various clubs and restaurants.
Every member of the band is running a social project:
GLADYCARE CHILDREN HOME: Gladycare children home was founded in five years ago as a place for giving destitute children elementary education. Three years ago the officials decided to go the extra rule by providing to the children all the basic needs: Food, Shelter and Clothing as well as education and medicals. This institute is soon getting registered.
REKEBISHO: A rehabilitation center for street kids. Knowing how life in the streets is like we are their big brothers and live a family life. Activities include: Weaving, Fine arts, Act e.g. music, Sports/boxing football, body building, Carving, Making crafts, Rehabilitation of street children.
BLAKC HILLS: A video production showing the situations in the slums of Nairobi as well as possible solutions to the problems.
Some other activities of the Warriors include: Campaigning against HIV aids, Campaigning for self reliance among youths, Environmental upgrading. We were touring through the slums of Nairobi for five weeks in 2006. This "Ghetto to Ghetto" tour was a big sucess and we would love to do it more often!

But sometimes there are boundaries
Full
Of
Water
Which are the tears
That shed for what is right.
But blood
Is thicker
Than water
And
Will
Break
The
Borders.
Talk about borders.
Then I call it confusion
An illusion in the making
How long are we going to talk
All people wake up and act now!
