About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

I'm from a little black dot on that big o'l Texas State map. My hometown is Santa Fe, and I graduated High School there back in 1990. My dream of becoming a musician started way before that though. I remember hunting with my Dad out in East Texas, back in 81. We were just finishing up dinner at the camp site, when this new artist came on the radio with his first single "Unwound". WOW, What a great song. Well, I was hooked on Country Music ever since, and that new artist went on to be the greatest Country Artist of all time, another fellow Texan- George Strait. To this day, I'm still one of his biggest fans. I'd like to give a special thanks to my good friend Randy Boudreaux for setting me up with that back stage pass to meet and hang out with my hero "George Strait " that night. It was the 4th of July weekend back in 93 when I made the move to Nashville, and enrolled myself into the University of Haggard & Jones. My first class was Honky Tonk 101, down at Tootsies Orcid Lounge. Man, what a night, I've been livin and learnin ever since. I guess you could say that I'm a career student. I'm still doing what I love doing, I've made a great life up here. I have my best friend (Julie) who also happens to be my wife, and 2 beautiful children (Caleb & Jacey) who are my pride and joy and HAPPINESS THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY. I thank GOD every day for all the blessings that I have recieved.

Band Members: Get ready....We're making music in 2008. Will keep you updated.
Influences: I'm influenced by all styles of music, I just happen to love country music over anything else. Ain't nothing better than some Fiddle & Steel Baby! If I had to pick a top 5: GEORGE STRAIT, MERLE HAGGARD, CONWAY TWITTY, RONNIE MILSAP and KEITH WHITLEY. I also love the 70's-80's Country and the 70's-80's R&B Music. Throw in some Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Harry Conick JR. and Michael Buble. Mix all that up into a big o'l bowl and you've got yourself a.......UH.....a.........BIG O'L BOWL OF MUSIC!
Sounds Like: People say I sound like George Strait. I don't hear it, but I'm definetly flattered by the comparision. He was definetly a major influence during my days as a young artist.
Record Label: Still looking for the perfect match
Type of Label: Indie
