Finding their way out of the blue collar towns of Bremerton and Port Angeles Washington, guitarist Christopher Lee and lead singer Dean Maury, first met in the musical hotbed of Seattle Washington in the mid 90's. Instantly clicking, the duo began writing at a feverish pace and haven't slowed down for more than a decade. Through the years of hard work and determination Maury and Hall have developed what has been called a "unique","fresh", and "new" alternative rock sound and style that is truly all their own, in a wealth of cataloged songs.This is made clear with their debut release "Desperate Science," a collection of thirteen songs that stands on its own. With the fusion of Maury's beautiful soothing vocals and symmetry lyrics, along with Lee's emotional and stylistic guitar playing, make for an album that cannot be forgotten. Their mesmerizing melodies are today's unique soundtrack of choice. Then, throw into the mix the accomplished drumming of Brian Young, best known for his work with such bands as The Posies and Grammy nominated Fountains Of Wayne. His strong and precise percussions provide the perfect back beat and groove. Additional drumming by Michael Baker (Colbie Caillat) and Cello and backing vocals by June Park helps to round out the album. There is no doubt that Blue Eyed Vinyls, along with their established reservoir of songs, will continue to create unique music and achieve amazing live performances well into the future.
