About Me

Ice Giant is a local up and coming original band from Columbus, Indiana. Columbus is a small town in south central Indiana mostly known for it's automotive related industries, architectural masterpieces, and the occasional rock 'n' roll band. That's where Ice Giant comes in!

If you've experienced the Columbus night life in the past 15 years, you may have seen bands like Badd Apple, Rainhouse, Tom Foolery, and Threshold burning up the stage in places like Bobby G's, Neon Nights, Caddies, and Decades. With their experience of playing covers for almost 20 years, Ice Giant has gathered inspiration from many different bands and styles of music to create their own unique sound.We are currently working on our 2nd CD. Hopefully to be release fall of 08!

Influences: Other than experience, there have been numerous bands that influenced the growth of Ice Giant. A few are: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Rush, Gov't Mule, Neil Young, and so many, many more. Ice Giant is continuously influenced by alternative, classic rock, blues, heavy metal, and jam oriented bands.

Sounds Like: Gathering inspiration from many different bands and music styles over the past 20 years, Ice Giant has created their own unique sound.
