My name is Jill McIntosh. I am 28 years old and love music with all of my heart. I have been teaching special education for 6 years, and I love my job, but if I had to choose between music and teaching - I would be torn! I received the 2007 Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year Award which was an extreme honor!!I started playing guitar a few years ago to help relieve stress, and I needed an extra class in college: who would have thought that it would lead to this? I love southern rock, country, soul music, christian music, love songs, and lately have been writing a lot of my own music.I know that I wouldn't be blessed with the gift of music if it wasn't for the GOOD LORD ABOVE being on my side - I am very lucky and blessed and I thank him each and every day! My mom is my number one supporter, and I couldn't do it without her, or my dad standing by my side! Performing in the acoustic duo Rhythm and Groove is so much fun. Alaina (my Rudy, my rock, and my soul sister) ~ her musical ability is amazing. Together, we will go places, and if you are lucky, hopefully you will be able to experience the incredible music that touches our life and keeps us fighting for our dreams. I am extremely blessed ~ my family and friends are amazing! Their encouragement and excitement for my music not only helps make me a better musician but a better person.
