Mountebank are a live audio/visual performance collective comprising of Jim Brouwer, Barret Hodgson, Noel Murphy and Leigh Toro. Mountebank was formed with the intention of exploring more 'unusual' venues and spaces.Each of us has various different experiences in both music and the visual arts and are all involved in both solo projects and other collaborations. We have recently been awarded funding by the PRS foundation to compose a performance for St Peters church in Nottingham with Dr Charles Tebbs. The enviroment, both sonic and visual is the base material for the performance with Dr Tebbs improvising with the church organ.
