Band Members: BRIAN DANIELS
LEAD & BACKGROUND VOCALS, GUITAR
Brian likes all kinds of music, and enjoys singing a variety of styles, like Rock and Rhythm and Blues.
The reason he likes country the most, is that it is simple music. You can understand it, and it relates to everyday life.
Some of Brian's biggest country influences right now are Phil Vassar, Colin Raye, and Chris Cagle. "I like Colin's style, and Phil and Chris write their own music".
Brian's solid acoustic playing is a staple of the band's rhythm section. His smooth as glass lead vocals and tight backing vocals are second to none.
DON DEVEREAUX
DRUMS & PERCUSSION, LEAD & BACKGROUND VOCALS
Don's musical styles run the gamut from Blues to
Country, Jazz to Fusion, Current Rock to Oldies and
back again. Some of Don's biggest influences have been Bobby
Colomby, Dave Weckl, Buddy Rich and Elvin Jones
Don's perfect meter and great feel for tempo make this one of the best rhythm sections in the area. His vocals round out the band with the ability to take the arrangements to 4 and 5 part harmonies.
Don has worked the last 25 years with various touring acts from coast to coast, the last 7 years with Susie Dobbs & Way Out West.
KENNY HOSS
LEAD GUITAR, LEAD & BACKGROUND VOCALS kenny Hoss has been playing guitar for more years than he would care to admit. Starting out on the acoustic, he soon found the electric guitar and a great love affair was born.
A grizzled veteran of stage and screen and saloon, he is also a well-respected guitar instructor in the southeast Wisconsin area. His influences on the guitar include Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Walsh and Jerry Reed.
Kenny's inventive lead guitar and songwriting skills make him the Barrel Boys' musical leader. Now if he could only get the rest of the band to see it that way...
MOPP WALKER
BASS GUITAR, LEAD & BACKGROUND VOCALS
After taking a short vacation from performing to start a family, Mopp is back to playing live music. Having not lost a step in his time off, Mopp's bass lines provide the foundation that allows the rest of the band to flourish.
Although a relative newcomer to country music, his solid and creative style make him an integral part of the Barrel Boys sound. His amazing vocal range makes him uniquely suited to hold down those high lonesome country vocal harmonies.
Always humble, he is often overheard to ask, "So, am I still in the band?"
NICK DICKENS
GUITAR, MANDOLIN & BANJO
Nick is the baby of the group at the ripe age of 21. He discovered his love for music listening to his father play guitar, and soon after began to learn. After several years of playing in rock and blues bands, Nick’s attention turned towards Country. Now a full time Barrel Boy, his life’s all about the pickin’. Nick’s influences include Jeff Beck, Brad Paisley and Jimmy Page.
