About Me

I create/collect/embellish vintage and vintage inspired threads with an urban aesthetic for men and women.
Somewhat fresh out of graduate school in 2006, I decided to mesh my two loves together and now I am dishing out my labour of love to the public. Vintage clothing and original artwork. Fashion is important. It is not important to praise, worship or blow your paycheck on, but it matters. As an artist I think it's important to be able to reinvent yourself and embrace change. No matter how hard it is to accept change, it happens and as our willingness for acceptance develops, we grow as people.
"You are very much a product of the hip-hop culture. Where a hip-hop producer takes a sample from the past and then breathes new life into it and uses the sample as a vehicle to express his/her own perspective. You take vintage clothing and much like a producer, breathe new life into it through your own perspective. You and the producer make the past anew and tangible for the people today. You have one foot in the past and one in the future, which makes your work an expression of the present."
Vintage clothes are more economically sound than new ones. Why? Buying a shirt the second time around means you avoid consuming all the energy used in producing and shipping a new one and, therefore, the carbon emissions assosciated with it. Every item of clothing you own has an impact on the environment.
These pieces are COMPLETELY machine washable in cold water, but don't throw them in the dryer. Paint + Massive Amounts of Heat = No No.
Each piece is an original one of a kind and prints are not recreated unless requested by patrons. If you see an image that you'd like to see on a piece you have in mind, let me know. You can also commission original images that are not yet printed, for the same price as off the rack.
All tshirts are $10-$20 and vintage button ups range from $15 - $35.
