Pound started rapping at the age of 6 years old. His father and uncle were rappers in the early 80’s. Pound was heavily influenced by a lot of different types of music played in his household in the Morton Homes Projects like R and B, hip hop, rock and roll and latin music. Pound started rapping with his cousins and they called themselves One Nine Hoc, after an intersection in north Philly, 19th and Wingohocking, where they lived. Pound left the group and started rapping with his half brother Saif in 1997. They formed a group called T.O.D. Team of Destruction in 2003.Pound’s influences in hip hop are Run-DMC, LL Cool J, Wu Tang Clan, KRS-1, Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Biggie Smalls, Hill top Posse, Ram Squad, EST, Steady-B, Cool-C. His R and B influences include Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass, Rick James, and Curtis Mayfield. He also listened to Bon Jovi, Guns and Roses, and Metallica.Pound’s variety of music helped this young man develop a desire to make song for all walks of like and for every life situation from poverty to partying to love to I will break your neck music.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
