INSANITY: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results..
A.Einstein........
I've been playing guitar and writing songs for the past 15 years. I've been in original bands such as ATH, Tu-Tight, X-Kahn, Electric Gypsy, and currently SisterBlind. I moved to LA in late 1988 and worked for Edward Van Halen. I helped out Randell "ZEKE" Clark who was Edward Van Halen's Guitar tec. This was a great learning experience for me.Being up at the 5150 studio and in Edwards Guitar room is a whole another story.
I moved back to Long Island in 1990 and a friend of mine hooked me up with a band called X-KAHN.This Band was already established with roadies, managment and a cool 1969 Blue school bus that we use as a tour bus.I joined the band and it was a Rock an Roll Party 8 days a week!! X-Kahn's "Hot, Loose and Wild" CD was released in 1990 and we went on an East Coast tour supporting the album.
I was with X-KAHN for 3 years. Then started my own band called Electric Gypsy .We played shows for the next 2 1/2 years. I received a full string endorsement by D'Aquisto Guitar Strings. I've played well over 400 shows from NY to California and recorded many songs.
In early 1994 I became a proud-single parent.Thats when I decided the Hardcore partying life style had to change.I went into a Detox center to clean my soul and mind. Thanks to God for giving me the strength.I havn't touched Mrs.Jones or Mr.Brownstone since 1994. I've been clean of that crap for the past 14 years.AMEN!!!
1996 got involved in a few Tribute Bands until 2001.I started thinking about getting back to the Original Rock Scene. Started jammin some original ideas with a few guys I knew from other Tribute bands. After writing a bunch of new originals with the bass player, we soon became SisterBlind. I came up with the bands name "SISTERBLIND" while driving in my car.I was thinking about an incident between my sister and I that had taken place a few days earlier. I'll just leave it at that for now..
SisterBlind released their first EP in 2002, and a full length CD in 2006.
We performed many shows from the east end of Long Island to New York City to New Jersey. 2007 SISTERBLIND decided to enter the 14th annual GOODTIMES Magazine Music Festival. Beating out over 170 bands SISTERBLIND won 3rd runner-up,(Grand prize,1st,2nd and 3rd) or 4th place in the Finals.
SISTERBLIND has gone through many changes and will continue to do so. We just Finished up our 2nd CD recorded at Loudmouth Studio's,thanks to Pete for his great engineering skills. SISTERBLIND's new CD will be released June 2008.
I wrote all the music on SISTERBLIND's new CD except 2 tracks I co-wrote with my singer,Paul Terror. Our new CD is High Energy, striaght forward Hard Rock n Roll......
