Carmelo aka “Karl†was born on October 8th 1982 in Brussels, Belgium. Although music has always been an important thing in his life, Karl realized while on a journey in Prague (PRAHA) that he actually wanted to become an actor of that scene.As from his return in Belgium, he managed to get all the necessary hardware and started learning the techniques that would allow him to give his own touch to his sets. For a long time, Karl has been watching the greatest DJ's, such as Roger Sanchez and many others.In the end of 2004, Karl had the opportunity to play for the first time in one of the most prestigious clubs of Brussels: “Les Jeux d’Hiver†and this was a huge success.The things went then really fast for him, as he played between 2004 and 2006 in the greatest venues of Belgium's capital, such as the Louise Gallery Event Hall, the Doudingue (now known as the B-Club), the Mirano Continental, Les Jeux d'Hiver, the Acte 3, the You Nightclub and many others.An important turnover occurred in December 2006 as Karl was given the chance to play on a national radio called Fun Radio, and was booked to spin for the first time at the New Year’s Eve party in one of the most famous house clubs of Brussels: the Louise Gallery Event Hall.2007 didn't let Karl down, as on top of the various parties and radio shows, Karl became a resident DJ of one of the best house nightclubs in Belgium, the You Nightclub, located in Brussels' centre.
