Sorry if my page took long to load. lol. My name is Greg. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent all my childhood and teen years in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
In 1989, I moved to British Columbia, Canada.
I am known as a warm-hearted person. I like to cheer up those who are down and out. I care about lonely people and those who experience rejection.
I don’t like to see anyone left out of a group and all alone. I like to make them feel appreciated and important because they really are.
Young women are being exploited more now than ever before in society. In magazines, the media and all over the internet, they are seen and treated mainly as "sex objects" rather than being respected as the special individuals they are. It appears that the only women who matter out there are the ones who have the "perfect" figure. This is all they are wanted for is their looks and their curves. What about other qualities women have?
Women should be honored and respected. I hate it when guys physically and verbally abuse their girlfriends, and a husband does the same to his wife.
Where's the love???
I love my wife and we are best friends.
A "best friend" is a friend that you know you can trust with your life. They are not jealous and controlling. They are positive and encouraging. They don't go out of their way to hurt you and they remain faithful to you for years. They are forgiving and care about you from their heart. They also deserve respect back in return. It should be mutual.
Infact, it's really about "what can I give to this friendship/relationship?"
Not "what can I get out of it?" or "What's in it for me?"
As a kid, I always wanted to get along with everyone. I loved peace and friendship and to see everyone safe and happy. I didn't like intimidation, violence and bullying.
I feel for guys and girls out there who are bullied by others and feel like they don't fit into any group.
I want them to know that they are special no matter how bad others mistreat them. You just have to consider where it's coming from. You're not the one with a problem, they are. Those people are immature and need to grow up and learn to respect others.
You are important and have a purpose in life. You are not a mistake. I say that to all the youth as well.
When I was a pre-teen, I received Jesus Christ, by faith, into my life and believe and trust in Him as my Lord and Savior to this very day.
In my early 20's, I moved to the southern interior of BC, western Canada.
I'm married to a precious wonderful wife and we have a daughter. My wife came to faith in Jesus Christ a few years before we got married and so did our daughter Miranda when she was a young child.
We have a good family relationship and look out for each other. Days never seem to go by without a hug. We enjoy playing board games at times and having family outings together.
