Hello and welcome,
I'm an Artist and musician working from Newcastle producing Graphics, animations, illustrations, and digital Installations comprised of sensors and generative elements etc (info will be updated within the next month or so). I love the natural and beautiful, which is pretty much anything if you look hard enough.
I tend to draw with instruments that i find lying about, on any scraps of paper etc, i like the immediacy of this kind of random inspiration and being able to capture a moment in time, it instigates mad 'stream of conciousness' approach to making stuff. I'm a big dreamer, more often than not i'm off in another world & one day i'd love to design and build my own house, something radically different, a mix of classical and modern styles, probably close to the sea as thats how i've always lived.
I'm currently working on both the first steps of new digital installations, and a series of biro studies depicting fashion & fashion models as preparation for up-coming composite works, T's, and stand-alone prints and will soon be starting on murals and fresco style work. Almost all of my image based work will contain analogue or hand-drawn elements, using a graphics tablet for digital work and finishing touches, It will also never contain any traced images. For various reasons that's just the way I work. I will be uploading bits and pieces of other work to the pics section as, and when, i find them while my main site is being prepared. There'll be music , audio-visual, composites, analogue and a lot else coming soon. In the meantime feel free to comment, ask any questions (i'l try to answer most of them, within reason), or talk artwork, music work, creative philosophies etc. Im planning to post the ideas behind the pieces at some point, but for now i'l leave them as pure images for you to contemplate.
