About Me

CD MASTERING: mad afforable. $50 up front and $10 for every hour I spend on it. Got tracks with levels all over the place? Sound thin, weak, boomy or muddy? Need EQ'd so they all sound like they belong on the same album? Intros. Outros. Fade ins/outs. Silence between tracks. I can do that. 6+ years experience. You'll get a redbook compliant CD-R master ready for mass duplication. Scroll down for a gear list. Message or IM for details.
I'm also messing with digital photography now too. I'm doing random myspace pics for people and I'd like to expand out to the community and offer the service to anyone interrested. Maybe free maybe not. Depends on how I feel that day. Message me. No bands, please.
OK, about me..
Let's see.. I play guitar. I daydream alot. I'm a good listener. I respect people who respect me. Moody. Different person every day. I like to make people laugh. I over analyze everything. Always reading about something technical or historic.
Some nicknames I've picked up over the years include Ein, MacGyver, Mouse, and Link.
I spend my free time playing bass guitar, reading the net, drinking beer, whatever. I also like to eat and sleep. I like pointing microphones at things.
Turn ons: Wit. Humor. Free thinking. Maturity. Self-awareness.
Turn offs: Condescending fucks. Racists. Self-righteous bastards. Compulsive liars. Cheaters. People that get uptight over dumb shit.
My AIM name is coma8coma1... Hit me up. If you dont have AIM send me a myspace message. We can pretend.

We're looking for some experienced players to join our clan so we can squad-up and kick some ass. 18+ with a microphone prefferred.
I like to teach and to learn. Want to know something? Just ask. Are you an expert at something? Then teach me. Otherwise STFU.

I'd like to meet:

artists. intellectuals. musicians. people who understand respect and honesty. responsible drinkers. people who refuse to use proper capitalization and punctuation. people who make me laugh.
i need an audio mentor. i am the sound engineer and general music guru to many of my musician friends, but i really only know so much, so I'm trying to find someone who's been into digital audio production for more than a couple years who can really school me on an expert level. Style doesn't matter. I use FL, WaveLab, and Cubase. Reason is unreasonable (long story).

Music:

you'd be surprised. this a conversion all in of itself. there's not much i don't like. even styles that you're too cool to admit like country or classical. i dig that stuff. i listen to metal, rap, classic rock, country, industrial, dnb... mostly electronic music these days.
maybe what i'll do is list a few of my favorite albums.
VNV Nation - Empires
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Rage Against The Machine (self-titled)
Korn - Korn
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Suagr Sex Magic
Pink Floyd - Meddle
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Creed - My Own Prison

Movies:

alien, aliens, akira, band of brothers, the matrix, the dark crystal, the lord of the rings, the shawshank redemption, gladiator, predator, clockwork orange, full metal jacket, the lost boys, blade, anything with vampires in it

Television:

history channel. national geographic. weather. a little sci-fi. i like stand-up comedy. chappelle's show. adult swim. i really dont watch much tv

Books:

encylopedias. dictionaries. any kind of scientific reference. internet. wikipedia.org and dictionary.com are a daily source of info. not alot of fiction, but i've enjoyed a little Asimov and some Crichton. I pick up high school and college text books at yard sales. I devoured Michio Kaku's Hyperspace and would recommend it to anyone interested in theroretical physics, astronomy, or trippy shit like that. I loved Philip Toshio Sudo's Zen Guitar.. it had almost nothing to do with guitar, but everything to do with me and life in general. Currently reading Flyboys by James Bradley. It's a true story of 8 Navy Airmen shot down over Chichi Jima in 1945. Disturbing shit what the enemy did to those guys. I feel that somewhere hidden in the search results of a google page lies the best thing I will ever read. I will continue to look for it until it is unearthed.

Heroes:

anyone who cooks for me. and people who teach me shit. and people who stand up for what they beleive in. people with determination and drive. i look up to that sort of thing.
