About Me


Background :
Robert Ryda (aka Ryda; known earlier as Ghostrida ) is a rap based artist from Moscow, Russia. He managed to make his first step as a bilingual battle emcee in the internet, managing his lyrics in both - English and Russian.
Going into production and mixing later, resulted in the construction of a private studio known to people by the name of "Rydarecordz". Later Rydarec has started gathering people around it from Europe and C.I.S. cities - London, Prague, Moscow and others.
Ryda's musical expirience includes a large number of recordings for various artists and also the production and co-production of albums.

Influences: Wu-Tang (Wu-Fam) was banging big, becoming a second biggest influence after 2pac, Onyx and Cypress Hill. Busta Rhymes, NTM, IAM, and Redman came at pretty much same period. Later dirty south style put down some more of its tunes and vibes for me to catch to, from Ludacris to Lil Wayne and to Chamillionaire. Oh, yea, almost forgot! That Jamaica raggae/reggae/dancehall sound got me good - Sizzla, Capleton, Vybz Kartel, Bob Marley, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall and even more..
