I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a Christian, first and foremost. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. I am a man who struggles daily with different things. I am not a perfect man. I am a man with demons fought and sometimes conquered. It's a daily battle to overcome them completely. Music has always been my friend. Ever since I was a young child, I can remember music touching my soul. I can remember being 3 or so singing songs from Fiddler on the Roof. Then KISS entered the picture and it was all metal from there. I since have discovered my "inner Eric Clapton" and a strong love for blues-oriented rock. I am married to a wonderful lady. We've been married since August of 2000. I was born and raised in Northampton PA, then moved to Salisbury MD until the summer of 2002, my wife and I came here to Birmingham AL, where she is originally from. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years. Just a note to bands who check my site out and want to add me, just because my URL has Johnny Metal in it, please don't just blindly add me. Really, I'm not into metal that much anymore.

My Interests

Music, music, music and more music! Anything that might fascinate me or make me think about the wonder of God. Guitars and equipment. I'm also very interested in Christian or clean comedy. Comedians like Brad Stine, Jeff Allen, Henry Cho, Joby Saad, Taylor Mason, Michael JR, Thor Ramsey, Sheila Sutherland, and others. Comedy that is funny and doesn't need sexual innuendo or vulgar language to make it funny.
