About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

I know more about music than i really care to. I appreciate good diction. My favorite breakfast is buttered sourdough toast and Tang. If I could live anywhere else it would be San Francisco; Vancouver, British Columbia; or south of London in Kent. I enjoy any art that is highly experimental. I enjoy change. I'm a really good cook. I like the smell of forest fires. I think people should be both mature and child-like at the same time. I'm a pacifist, but if I know if I ever got into a serious fight I would fight to kill. I need and make time to daydream. I like to play, in the traditional sense of the word. I like to argue not to prove my own point, but to hear the other person's opinion. Sometimes, girls scare me.

My Interests

art, music, running, yoga, vegetarianism, forcing people to be human, stickin' it to tha man.

I'd like to meet:

People other than myself. I've known myself for a long time, and the relationship is getting stale. So, if you're not me, you'll do fine.

adopt your own virtual pet!

Music:

This is too hard. Here's what i'm listening to right now:
Sumday by Grandaddy
Congotronics by Konono #1
Happy Bivouac by The Pillows
Pulse Demon by MerzBow
A Big 10-8 Place by Negativland
The Rite Of Spring by Igor Stravinsky
OPUS by Thurston Moore, Walter Prati & Giancarlo Schiaffini

Movies:

Movies everyone should see: Delicatessen, Slacker, Angela, The Forbidden Zone (by Richard Elfman), In The Bedroom, Night On Earth, Dead Man. Wait, I should stop there. Just do this: DON'T SUPPORT HOLLYWOOD! IT'S A BUNCH OF USELESS CRAP!

Television:

I own a TV, and I only use it for watching movies. I really wish they made a TV without a tuner in it.

Books:

I'm REALLY into books right now: Here's what I've read/ am reading right now:
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon
Dante's Purgatorio (as translated by Sandow Birk)
A Scanner Darkly by Philip K. Dick
The Doors of Perception & Heaven and Hell by Aldous Huxley

Heroes:

John Cage, Dogen, Kim Gordon, most of my close friends.

Again with the IPOD

How I learned to stop worrying and start loving the Ipod

So, for a long time I've resisted, on a philosophical basis, the attraction to getting an ipod, based on the theory that MP3 compression SUCKS (gimme vinyl anytime), and it turns music into a commodit...
