Welcome to My Space. I am a singer and songwriter from a totally mixed but somewhat westernised culture, rich with traditions of many different nationalities. So I grew up thinking “I am everything but very different at the same time”.
That’s exactly how I see my music. A mixture of many worlds, experiences and feelings that evolve in mind while writing or recording. My songs reflect what I feel for myself or others and I focus on the truthful flow of ideas whether I begin with the melody or words.
I just do what I feel. And I feel A LOT.
My music takes on multiple personalities from youthful exuberance to mature whispers. Call it Pop, R&B Pop/Rock whatever, it’s just how I feel.
I work with different musicians and producers. The songs presented above were made in collaboration with the Bochum situated musician/producer Reinhard Falk. We met in 2005 and started exploring each others music. It took us a while to put our thoughts, ideas, feelings and experiences together and have them entwined into music.
Once they were complete I was ready to perform live. The first person I contacted was Martin Weiss, a great musician situated in Cologne. We knew each other from other projects in the past and had a mutual understanding of sound and music. Today, Martin is my music director and he has helped me put together a great international band.
I believe that the process of making music can be easily compared to working in a chemical laboratory. The right amounts of ingredients need to be mixed to achieve the best results. That means a lot of trial and error, a lot of thinking and above all giving music time and a lot of love, heart and soul.
