My Interests

All of our staff have a variety of literary influences: Kurt Vonneget, Louise Erdrich, Harlan Ellison, Toni Morrison, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Ray Bradbury, Charles Frazier, Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, Herman Melville, John Steinbeck, Haruki Murakami, George Sauders and many others. Last, but ceratainly not least, we love and cherish the writings from our contributing authors. Who are they? Log into our website under our "Whipsers" Section and read excerpts from their works: http://www.exmachinapress.com/sv/whispersv1.htm

I'd like to meet:

We like to meet all who share the same passions as we do: writing and reading well-crafted stories. The purpose of our primary publication, Silent Voices, an annual anthology of short fiction, is to publish fiction of a variety of styles and genres. By taking stories of a diverse nature and placing them in a specific order, we produce a creative mosaic that tells a larger story. We collect different "voices" and present a unifying harmony in one book. This is what Silent Voices is all about. We encourage all of you to check out our website, find out who we are all about, purchase sample copies of Silent Voices, and be a part of our ever expanding world!!
