Goin' Up?

About Me

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1983, discovered his interest for music and production in 2000 at the age of 17, due to hip hop, scratching and turntablism. The process of sampling was his musical background teacher, opening way for many different styles, such as jazz, funk, blues, rock, etc. This was the start of a relationship with vinyl that later enabled him to dj. It was only in 2003/2004 that he came to extend his interest to dance music, starting with deep house and progressing to more electronic and minimal dance styles. At this time he had the opportunity and privilege of working in a Vinyl shop, called V-Records, in the heart of Lisbon, allowing him to meet the Lisbon dance scene and all its dj’s. With this came the opportunities to start djing in small parties for friends and at some local clubs. While this happened, he tried to balance his will to produce music and his urban architecture course. Now, with a little more experience, he tries to make better tracks, without musical education; “I don’t make music, I just play with sounds!” In 2007 came the first opportunity to release his first track, “Mood Switch”, on ItaloBusiness. Many thanks to Ugo and Alessandro Piatto, and those who support me and my music.
