In February 1983 Bony and Tight decided to find bandmembers, that they can reach an own musical horizon. With Bony and Tight at the front, the 2nd Gitarre took over Chris, their woofer was Jeff, while Steve beat the drum.
At the beginning the band rehearsed in the basement of Tight. they were the first time on stage in a friend's club. The hall was noisy and Ricardo was listening too. He knew the club owner and came backstage after the concert. Ricardo liked the sound and somehow they hired him as their promoter in the early morning. this guy called whole Southamerica to find concert halls. They really owe Ricardo a lot! After a small club tour through Bolivia, their reputation for bloody riffs and unique vocals were faster than them. So it came that the small clubs, which were at the beginning empty, suddenly became good crowded.
The 80's were just one big party for them, so it came that our boys from Potosà became pregroup of famous Krokus on their Southamerica tour. The band never had idols, but to be on tour with the rockgigants Krokus, was probably the climax of B'n'T's career.
The last Livekonzert was in 1987 in Rio. Bony 'n' Tight retired from stage. They thought: "Up to here and not further", so in 1989 the band d dissolved because of artistic differences.
In 1994 bass Player passed away Jeff. Bony'n'Tight played the song "The World shall Be Mine" at his funeral. Rest In Peace JEFF !!!
Bony and Steve moved from Bolivia to Mexico City to start their own label ( hydraulic jack productions). The guys met on a friend's 5th marriage again and decided to force up on a reunion, but Jeff wasn't there. Daniel was always a buddy of the band and he know how to handle a baseguitar. So Daniel became Jeffs succsessor.
Rock in Rio: 1999, Bony 'n' Tight got reunioned. Fresh power motivated musicans and alot of old fans. Might over 10'000. It was great and the band went off for new plans. On a big Millenium party in Lima (PERU) the boys set the crowd on fire.
In 2003 the ideas for a new tourplan became serious and Ricardo checked out many of the Southamerican Clubs. Unfortunately Tight had some Blackouts because of his huge daily dose and admitted to a clinic. Finally the POINT OF NO RETURN Tour rocked in 2005. Anyway Bony 'n' Tight will start their 3th Southamerican Tour in Spring 07.
For 2008 is a Studioalbum planed. Therefore they got a good structure with Bony and Steves Lable. Its the first studio production of them. There's just a live CD of 500 pcs. but these are all sold out since years.
