Growing up in the suburbs of Montreal, in a region where Hip Hop
wasnt blasting through the radios of most kids, Nicholas Legault
borrowed a Wu-Tang album from his cousin and from that point on
on his love affair with rap music has never ceased. While digging
through piles of albums at record stores he quickly caught up on all
the great Hip Hop he had missed over the years. Like many, he
became so passionate with this art form that he started writting. He
was about 16 when he started rhyming with a few of his friends. It was
only when heturned about 19 that his friends and him got deeply
serious about their music. They formed a group called Lyrical
Assault and after changing his alias a few times, Nick finally stuck
with (Zer0) Tolerance. With Lyrical Assault, they began working
on thier music and they quickly got a good thing going on the
Quebec rap scene. The only problem Tolerance saw with Lyrical
Assault were the restricting constraints due to the fact that aside
from Zer0 the crew was entirely French. Seeing a wider horizon for
him to approach as an artist, Tolerance then began working on his
solo career on the side. His role within Lyrical Assault has
provided him with a little exposure but most importantly live show
experience. With his group, Tolerance has performed in over 50
shows and has been on several mixtapes and compilations.
Tolerance has proven himself as a very versatile MC, never
wanting to conform to one style in particular. He is able to write
songs where his lyrical content and thoughts will be the main focus.
Yet he can also deliver a verse where his flow and rapping abilities
will really shine. Tolerance has a dream well set in his mind and is
determined in making it happen.
