About Me

ALTERCATION started in July 2006. Described as soft rock, dark-pop, or just a bit of something here and there the band hasn't been looking for a category, doing every songs simply in a jam. Recorded in february 2007 at the New Cross studio "The Vampires" ( now called Music City ) the first demo gives them a stability and gigs around at The Bull and Gate and The Archway Tavern to name a few. The band improved their sense of the stage time after time and they did a second recording at the ENterprise Studio in the West End of London. This new demo called The Mirror Tales bring four new songs and two new versions of Shallow and Souless City. The demo has been recorded in 12 hours only but it is a step forward for the band who feel they now have a completely different sound and they now feel ready for a tour.
