I think cynicism is wasted energy, and definitely not cool (but sarcasm is alright.) I like watching soccer and baseball for the exact opposite reasons (Go Arsenal! Go Cubs!) I prefer dramas and comedies over action/adventure. I'm the grants manager in the development department at a nonprofit youth services agency, and I've written a couple of screenplays that look to be entering pre-production with two very hot up-and-coming directors (Joe Otting of Project Greenlight, and Paul Schneider).
