Hood Records & Management is owned and operated by Quayshaun in New York. As an artist, in the 90's, Quayshaun was signed to Epic Records and managed by Darren Chandler of Top 10 Ent. He has toured with Mary J. Blige, Bobby Brown, Boyz II Men, Father MC, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B & Rakim, and Jodeci.
Quayshaun later became an independent record promoter, having promoted some of the largest artists in the industry, such as Biggie, 2Pac, Total, Hootie & The Blowfish, and The Fugees, in which Quayshaun had a strong influence in Lauren Hill's decision to go solo. He has, also, worked with Tommy Boy Records' Frank Torro, Timelan Entertainment's Anton Barnes, and did independent consultant for BMG Record's Dennis Kelman. Quayshaun was a partner of Sleeping Giant Music which managed Freddie Jackson and Taral Hicks.
As the owner of Hood Records & Management, Quayshaun, now, manages The Ying Yang Twins/TVT, Felecia/NEW TRIN, Dirt Bag/DEF JAM, and Nappy Roots/UNIVERSAL. Quayshaun plans on taking this movement to a much higher level.
