MyHeritage : Celebrity Collage - Drawing a family tree - Geneology
Among other things, I enjoy reading, painting, and spending time with my family. There's also remodeling and gardening - anything that improves our surroundings.
Odd question...I guess there are a lot of people that I'd like to meet - Tom Hanks, Christopher Titus, Mike Birbiglia, the three cavemen from the Geico commercials...oh and eventually, I guess I'd like to meet my biological mother. I'm sure there are many others...but I can't think of them right now. What We Call the News | Funny Jokes at JibJab
I have an eclectic taste in music. I listen to everything from country to new wave, metal, classic rock, Christian contemporary, pop, classical and R & B. The only kind of music I don't like is rap. What I listen to just depends on the mood I'm in...or the mood I'm trying to achieve.
I'm a fan of all genres and, much like music, it just depends on the mood I'm in. I tend to lean more toward comedies though I think - whether it's dark comedy like "Sean of the Dead", romantic comedy like "You, Me & Dupree", or whatever comedy subcategory "Waiting" would fall under. (My sons like to get each other with The Goat as often as possible...unfortunately, I've been a casualty in their twisted game on more than one occasion!) Horror movies are great too, but only if I get to watch them with my sons...it's FANTASTIC scaring them later! *LOL* I'm not really into the gore flicks that like to call themselves horror movies. Horror, to me anyway, is being scared...not being grossed out. Gore won't make you afraid to walk to the bathroom alone in the middle of the night - horror on the other hand...
Thank God for TiVo! I was a faithful fan of Rome and The Sopranos before they came to an end. Mad Men, Boston Legal, and Lost are at the top of my Must Watch list. There are also the tried and true favorites like Everybody Loves Raymond, Rosanne, King of Queens, King of the Hill, Family Guy, Two and a Half Men and Friends. Yeah, I know...I need to get a life! *L*
Up until recently, I was a die hard Stephen King fan...still am actually, but when I found out that his son was writing as Joe Hill, my circle widened just enough to include him too. If you haven't read anything by him, "Heart Shaped Box" is a great one to start your journey! I just finished his new one - Twentieth Century Ghosts. It doesn't disappoint...unless you count the fact that it ends.
