I've been watching the Tucson Hip Hop scene grow since 1992. I've seen a lot of dope ass Mc's get looked over because of our location on the map, so it became a mission of mine to make sure everyone "knows the name" of who I promote. I even promote cats and they don't even know it...lol. Some of the artist I promote, you will find right here on myspace. Imperial, The Tu, Swindoe, Armada Plus, Meskaline, Joint Custody, Grime, James Ciphurphace, Jivin Scientists, and almost everyone else in the Tucson scene, too much to type lol..I have recently branched out and started promoting Pheonix acts in Tucson, like Society of Invisibles, Petah Roy, and more. I have also done a couple compilation cds. No matter if it's underground to commercial, If you have talent, I will try to push your music to your market. All I can do is help get the word out for you.I never really got into throwing shows until it got a little harder to get these guys on other shows, so I said "fuck it, I'm gonna do my own shows." I put together a show with a few Tucson acts that pulled a decent crowd. Then I brought Ra The Rugged Man to Tucson. He worked with Biggie, Wu Tang, Mobb Deep, Lyracist Lounge, Sound Bombing Mix-Tapes, and more. That show did ok, but coulda been better!
