Life isn't personal, it just FEELS personal.

About Me

Look at my profile, message me with any question you can think of. Seriously, anything. DON'T just send me a friend request, I want to actually know my "friends".The slideshow pics are from the Coex Aquarium in Seoul.

My Interests

I hate people that are bored all the time. There are so many awesome things in this world, and I just don't have enough time in the day to learn and experience everything that I want to. It's easier for me to list things I'm NOT interested in, but the things I spend the most time on are my music, movies, TV, books, and games. I work out most every day, play poker every week, check out a bar or club every weekend, and play pool whenever I can. I love adventuring and traveling and seeing what's in Korea. Every other week I'm hiking to a temple or going to the beach or checking out an art festival. Most of all, I love trivia and referencing random pop culture, especially from the 80s:

I'd like to meet:

People that will expand my mind, enrich my life, and touch my soul.Who I DON'T want to meet: friend-collectors, Bush-supporters, and people who need me to constantly entertain them.I also want to meet the guys who made this: Powerthirst

Music:

I appreciate almost everything, but I actually spend money on rock and rapcore, electronica and industrial, and anything that blends multiple styles and genres. And I love me some Afrika Bambaataa:

Movies:

SO many! I have a hard time with serous dramas and movies made before the 60s. I love Stone, Pitt, Mamet, Portman, and the Will Ferrel crew. I've got a soft spot for hardcore martial arts films and I love animated movies that aren't made just for kids. 300!!

Television:

I get my news from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert cuz they cut through all the crap and scare tactics. I watch a few shows on FX and G4, and always manage to get suckered into at least one MTV show a season. Lately I'm watching Korean TV, so I've become a big fan of X-Man! Bless Korean TV: Korean TV Commercial

Books:

I don't read as much as I should but lately I'm into world religion, philosophy, and psychology books. Mostly I read fantasy/sci-fi stuff and anti-establishment books by guys like Dick and Palahniuk. And I've gotta pimp the comic books, they're literature, too (the good ones.) My favs are The Walking Dead, Fables, Y the Last Man, Planetary, and Astro City.found this girls layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com

Heroes:

Thomas Jefferson, Bruce Lee, anyone who can drink a bottle of tabasco and a fifth of Jack in one sitting. And Abraham Lincoln, King of the Cage. And Bobby Batronic...say it like it is, Bobby!

So I live in Gyeonggi-do, which is the donut-shaped province surrounding Seoul.  I spend most of my time in my city of Sungnam-shi, and the second most time in Seoul itself for nightlife or sight...

Treason

The following is written by a band manager. "I've been thinking about treason recently. I used to think I knew the meaning of the word as a special sort of "official" betrayal of the state. Of co...

Paranoia, paranoia, everyones out to get me

A couple of weeks ago I was watching some stuff on the computer and putzing around the house late at night, lights off.  I was relatively peaceful except that out of the corner of my eye I keep s...

Women!

So, I do not pretend to be any expert on women, but I do have a little bit of experience dating.  Coming to Korea has been a rude awakening.  Back in the States, when you say you're coming t...

Mudfest!

So I said I'd talk about dating, but I lied.  Rather than philosophize about Korean women, I'm going to give a quick recap and review of Mudfest '07.  I will however, tie this in to women if...

Cancer birthdays

Well, it's been quite some time since I sat down to write about life here in Korea.  I have been, as they say, too busy living life to write about it.  This was due to several factors: 1- I ...
