Jason Jay started in 1992-1994 with the legendary Ambient Lounge which packed the infamous Louis 14 restaurant. From 1994 to 2001 Jason ran Los Angeles' largest underground weekly event called Magic Wednesdays. This was a staple of the Los Angeles underground music scene which created the prototype for what we now call the electronic music movement. In addition to Magic Wednesdays Jason simultaneously ran Fun Haus which packed over 2000+ people on Thursday nights at the then virgin venue circus disco. Booking world renowned talent on a weekly basis at both venues Jason has worked with a long line of Dj's such as Carl Cox, Uber Zone, Crystal Method, and Loop Guru just to name a few as well as he worked with most major djs in the electronic music scene . He was also responsible for the "Club Party Monster" event and tour. Club Party Monster was an annual club in Hollywood and also was on tour throughout the United States. This was reminiscent of early New York club culture created by masterminds Michael Alig and James St James and was brought back by club creators Jason Jay and along with resident DJ Keoki and Colonel Clique. Now Jason Jay is going off on his own with partner JoJo of JAG events doing a mini massive rave called THE KANDY FESTIVAL...This was Jason Jays first RAVE in years and the party was a smashing success. The Kandy Festival packed over 3800 people under 1 roof.. Jason Jay's next show is gearing up for AUG16TH 2008 called THE KOSMIC FESTIVAL.....NOW THIS ONE IS GOING TO BLOW EVERYONE AWAY,As well as he is teaming up with diva dj EGYPT for a weekly Wednesday night weekly starting may 21st 2008 in Hollywood called DIRTY @ Safari Sam's at 5214 W. Sunset BLVD Hollywood, CA 90027 and this will be going on every Wednesday.
Jason Jay is also opening up a bi weekly called FRIDAY NIGHT MASSIVE located @ Gotham in San Bernardino 295 E. Caroline St. CA 92408 featuring 2 areas of music with world class talent from around the globe,stay tuned for much much more from Jason Jay..... WE LOVE YOU ALL
