Motivated by boredom and contempt for the eight hundred and forty flavours of shit that constitute "modern music", genius composer-producers Richard Jones and Leo Coulter formed Not The Face in April 2004 with the intention of providing you with something better.
At Not The Face we promise:

To laugh at ourselves (and therefore at you) frequently and in some cases constantly during the course of a song

To arrive on time in the appropriate attire
To, during a no-doubt-forthcoming interview for T4 conducted by, say, Alex Zane, use phrases like "on the contrary" and "further to the point I made earlier" having alerted viewers to our brand of cultivated humourlessness during the previous segment in which we are clearly visible in the audience, standing behind the lead singer from Kasabian, nodding with impossible seriousness while he answers questions about what his favourite day of the week is, the weather in Los Angeles, the importance of staying grounded...
To always treat you with the courtesy and respect you deserve
To never, ever, ever insult your intelligence
Not to provide the jumped-up and aspirational of this world with yet another music-shaped lifestyle enhancer that was never intended to be LISTENED TO REALLY QUITE CAREFULLY
To avoid the town centre after dark because it's a no-go area
