I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I grew up on the east coast, NJ - suburb of NYC. Went to college in upstate NY, then lived in NYC, then New Orleans until becoming a Katrina Refugee. After Katrina I found a great job and an awesome place to live. I work for the Telluride Daily Planet, in the production department doing ad design, paper layout and such! The people I work with are real cool. This town is gorgeous and has so many possibilities on the nature side of things which I never could have found back in New Orleans or NYC.

My Interests

All about music for the most part, but when it comes down to it, I'm a Junglist, thru and thru! I love snowboarding! I also love hiking and I just got a mountain bike. Oh and I also like to go out and get a drink or two sometimes :)

I'd like to meet:

All sorts of people, far and near! I love this little town I'm in, and I guess it's only a matter of time before I know everyone here, well at least the ones that stick around longer than one season! Always looking to meet more locals, especially fellow powder seekers, hiking enthusist and some mountain bike partners — even though I am just get into that one myself!

Music:

Jungle/DnB and most other forms of electronic music - some more than others - not so sure about that house stuff. Punk, rock and what not, as well. New bands I've gotten into, well new to me; Citizen Cope, Fray, Death Cab for Cutie, Decemberist, Swollen Members and Ryan Adams.

Movies:

I just like movies in general, pretty much always down to just chill out and watch a movie, as long as theres not fresh pow-pow or a sunny sky to be had.

Television:

CSI: Las Vagas and Scrubs as of most recently. Always and forever Adult Swim; Aqua Teen, Family Guy, Futurama, Sea Lab. Simpson's always good. I don't ever seem to find myself watching much else on tv, I like movies more! Oh, just about anything on discovery, TLC, and the Nature Channel!

Books:

Just finished the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, probably the best thing I've read from him, not sure what I think of the ending, but the trip there was pretty good! Need to pick up a new book, just not sure what yet.

Heroes:

Ragga Bear whos' back in my possession after spending a few lonely weeks trapped in a flooded city with hoodlums rampaging the neighborhood! Mad props for keeping my stronghold under wraps!
