"Fuck it ! Call it Harry Fucking Teeth just pick a damn name," was the frustrated response of lead guitarist Mark Hoffman after days went past of an undecided Band name.We all looked at each other with a grin.That's it.And the name stuck.
Lead guitarist Phil Cross was a best friend and he told me I couldn't write a rock tune..lol.I can laugh at that now.But at the time I dropped him off on an ole dirt road and said a couple things myself.We have seen each other since since. There's still a grin there.He is still jamming and we are in contact more than ever.He has a site on .... myspace.com/xxxcross .... where he is working on new material.
Mark is working on new material as well.
I played hell trying to get these two guys to form with each other because they both played totally different.Both are awesome guitarist.And they both wanted the spot light.I loved it.That made them kick ass every time they played always trying to out do each other.And when I jumped in,I added some blues and that's how we formed our sound.Once they started working together,I would just stand back and watch and play.It was an awesome melting pot that brewed.
We Hired "Bob Tedlock" a kick ass drummer to play on our recording.But he had things of his own to do.So we was left to hunt for drummers and bass players.It was a struggle.By the way the bass on the CD was played by the Mark,Phil and myself,"Joe."
Now the band is not playing together but hope is still there.It's been 8 years.And nerves have calmed over the years.Each one of us let it go after The fall out.A typical love,hate band story of each other.Butting heads and so on.I feel there was so much talent in the band that we couldn't control our selfs.
I spoke with Mark before I moved to Florida from Michigan and he feels the same way.If we knew now what we didn't know then,we believe we could have made it.Sex Drugs & Rock and Roll was the combination.But it's hard to focus if your not focusing on one thing.Sounds hairy doesn't it?Anyway,We have changed and still have some unfinished business."The dream."
We all have talked since I created this site and things are heating up.And in a good way.
We still want to kick off the CD we created and get some response and feed back.Thats why I've posted our music on here.I'm still writing and playing and so is Mark and Phil.We believe Harry Teeth is just waiting in the shadows getting ready to prowl.He is hungry and he thirst's for that full cup.And so do we.
