Sit back & relax, this is how CHOP was born. it was in 1998, when i got hired in the plant. there was 6 of us that hung out during breaks. All had nickname except me, so 1 of my coworkers gave me the nickname CHOP, basicly cause i was the shortest. 1 day siting at the break table while figureing out different ways 2 write out CHOP, the lord spoke 2 me and told me "COME OUT WITH A CLOTHING LINE & CALL IT CHOPgear". So i started tagging it on all my papers, it was soon after i started drawing the face logo. i then incorperated both & had them Trademarked. 1 day while drawing them out , i asked the lord "WHAT DOES CHOP STAND 4", he clearly said "IT STANDS 4 WHAT U LIKE DOING, CREATING HOPE 4 OTHER PEOPLE". I was going around trying 2 find people that wanted 2 be apart of this new buisness i was starting, there were a at least 6 or more that was intrested, but when it came 2 contributing, i had no luck . so i saved up some money and went and had 25 sweat shirts made, i sold sum and gave sum, The ARELLI was added by another coworker and the lord told me the meaning of it is "ALL REAL EDUCATED LADIES LIVING INDEPENDENTLY, so of course the womens line was developed.. down the line i met Treasure at the Ti concert, by the way shes on my top friend list and was the first person on my flyers i put out . Thanks Treasure (Kelly). when i did call her she told me bout Gina T. shes a designer also , i met up with her and she asked if i wanted 2 be in her fashion show. i put 2gether sum shirts 4 it , i was debateing if i was going 2 go thru wit it but i got up the nerve and did it ,it was a success & thats what drove me 2 go full throttle with doing fashion . Thanks Gina T. i did more shows even 1 in ATL. i left plant and started up a CHOP shop in the Greenfield plaza, its doing great. what i do is customize everything from hats - shoes. everything is handcrafted & painted. what u do is bring me a picture of what u want designed and i can duplicate it right on ur garment . click on my (PICs) just 2 get an idea . i also draw logo's & tats 4 people . so check me out and get back at meh.
